2 Goals at the End of the Match Between Les Parisiens and the Semifinals

Paris Saint Germain advanced to the semifinals after beating Atalanta 2-1. Two PSG goals came at the end of the match. Les Parisiens

Quarter final Champions League between Atalanta vs PSG took place at the Da Luz Estadion, Thursday (13/8/2020) in the morning WIB. Atalanta managed to take the lead in the first half through Mario Pasalic’s goal.

PSG hit Atalanta hard at the end of the match. Two goals were scored by Marquinhos and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, which made the French club locked their tickets to the semifinals.

The course of the match

La Dea immediately threatened in the second minute through Papu Gomes, but his shot was still right in the arms of Keylor Navas.

After a matter of seconds, PSG took turns threatening with a fast attack. Neymar managed to go head-to-head with Marco Sportiello and fired a shot. The Brazilian player’s placing ball is still slightly wide from the goal.

Atalanta again created a threat to PSG’s goal in the 10th minute. Hans Hateboer, who escaped from the offside position, managed to release a header after welcoming a cross. There has been no goal after Navas was able to ward off the ball.

Navas returns to the rescue a minute later. This time the PSG goalkeeper was able to ward off Mattia Caldara’s header.

PSG got good momentum to score in the 18th minute. Neymar made it into the Atalanta penalty box after passing one or two. The former Barcelona player did not fire, but chose to pass to the far post which his colleague failed to take advantage of.

Atalanta surprised PSG in the 27th minute. Mario Pasalic tore Navas’ goal after snatching the ball from Duvan Zapata’s one-on-one duel with Presnel Kimpembe. 1-0 Atalanta took the lead.

PSG reacted immediately after the goal. Neymar fired a shot at Atalanta’s goal, but the ball still didn’t go to the goal.

Until it was approaching halftime, PSG still lost their minds to tear Atalanta’s goal. The French club repeatedly failed to take advantage of opportunities to become goals.

Nyemar got the chance to score in the 41st minute after cutting the ball from Hateboer’s poor back-pass. The ball shot by the 28-year-old striker flew far from the target.

No extra goals. Atalanta won 1-0 to drink.

Atalanta did not relax their attacks at the start of the second half even though they were in a superior position. The team made by Gian Piero Gasperini actually spread threats twice in the PSG defense.

PSG received another threat in the 57th minute. Djimsiti’s weight fired a shot from close range after chaos in the penalty box. However, the Atalanta defender’s volley ball was just wide of the goal.

Difficulty scoring goals made Thomas Tuchel forced to play Kylian Mbappe in the 60th minute. The player who is not 100 percent fit comes on to replace Pablo Sarabia.

PSG managed to fire a second shot on goal in the 73rd minute. Mbappe, who was out of control, ran combed from the left side into the Atalanta penalty box. The shot is fired, but the ball is still managed by Sportiello with his foot.

Due minutes later it was Neymar’s turn to fire. The ball he released was easily caught by the Atalanta goalkeeper.

PSG made a change of goalkeeper in the 79th minute. Navas was withdrawn after suffering a hamstring injury and Sergio Rico came on as a substitute.

Mbappe got two chances in the 80th minute. The ball from his first shot was captured by Sportiello and then able to be blocked by defender Atalanta.

Atalanta struggled to keep down PSG’s attacks at the end of the match. Several violations had to be committed in order to break the flow of the ball.

PSG deadlock occurred in the 90th minute of the second half. Marquinhos scored successfully after using Neymar’s pass in front of the Atalanta penalty box.

PSG turned to win 2-1 in injury time. Choupo-Moting scored after cheating Mbappe’s cross.
