2. Bundesliga | Player carousel at HSV keeps turning

Hamburger SV continues to work hard on its squad for its upcoming fourth season in the 2nd Bundesliga. Especially in the defense center and in the midfield there were and are major personnel changes.

After Rick van Drongelen has already moved to 1. FC Union Berlin and the farewells of Gideon Jung and Aaron Hunt, further departures from HSV are in the room. For example, David Kinsombi, Jeremy Dudziak and Amadou Onana should initially be there at the official start of training under the new coach Tim Walter on Friday.

According to “kicker”, however, they are also on the sales list. The problem with this: At least for Kinsombi and Dudziak there are no potential buyers yet, offers have not yet been made.

At least Amadou Onana could leave Hamburger SV soon. According to the sports magazine, expressions of interest from various clubs have been deposited.

Barca talent Reis should be signed

A departure of U21 European champion Josha Vagnoman in the next few weeks is also still in the room. Several clubs should also be involved in the right-back. However, it has apparently not yet been really specific.

In contrast, the transfer of Ludovit Reis should be made clear as soon as possible. The 21-year-old is under contract with FC Barcelona, but already played on loan at VfL Osnabrück in the 2nd Bundesliga last season in the second division. The Dutch midfielder has played in 30 competitive games for VfL, most recently in the unsuccessful relegation against FC Ingolstadt.

After Jonas Meffert from Holstein Kiel and Miro Muheim from FC St. Gallen, Ludovit Reis would be Rothosen’s third summer purchase. The Barca youngster played 21 times for the Catalans’ second team in the 2019/2020 season and would be earmarked for eighth position at HSV.
