1,979 residents affected by Mount Semeru eruption evacuated

The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Center for Control and Operations (Pusdalops) detailed the 11 evacuation points, including 266 people at SDN 4 Supiturang, 217 people at Oro-oro Ombo Village Hall, 119 people at SDN 2 Sumberurip, 228 people at Sumberurip Village Hall. .

So, 131 people at Penanggal Village Hall, 52 people at Gunung Sawur Post, 216 people at Pasirian Village Hall, 150 people at Candipuro Field, 600 people at Candipuro District Office, and the rest at SMPN 2 Pronojiwo.

A number of villages were also affected by the warm cloud fall (APG) from the Mount Semeru eruption. Areas affected by APG Sumeru Volcano it covers Capiturang and Sumberurip villages in Pronojiwo district, Sumbersari village in Rowokangkung district, Penanggal village and Sumberwuluh village in Candipuro district, and Pasirian village in Pasirian village.
