19-year-old Iranian Instagrammer rescued 10 years in prison for’Zombie Selfie’

Iranian authorities arrested him in October 2019. Charges followed, including blasphemy, incitement of violence, and insults of the Islamic dress code.

His Instagram account was closed, and he was sentenced to 10 years in prison in the Islamic Revolutionary Court last December.
