18 new infected and the number of patients in intensive care rises to 5

There are 18 cases of Coronavirus registered in the last 24 hours in Abruzzo, one of which in the province of Chieti, out of 1,577 tests performed (178,556 in total). Thus the number of infections in Abruzzo rises to 4,052 since the beginning of the emergency, while deaths remain at 473.

The newly infected are aged between 15 and 82 years. Currently, the positives in Abruzzo are 606 (15 more than yesterday), of which 42 (number sent) are in hospital in non-intensive care, 5 (one more than yesterday) in intensive care and the other 559 (14 more) yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL.

The total number of positive cases also includes 2,973 discharged / healed (+3 compared to yesterday), of which 18 who from symptomatic with clinical manifestations associated with Covid 19 became asymptomatic and 2,955 who resolved the symptoms of the infection and were negative in two consecutive tests.

Of the total number of positive cases, 570 are resident or domiciled in the province of L’Aquila (+4 compared to yesterday), 951 in the province of Chieti (+1), 1,748 in the province of Pescara (+8), 749 in the province of Teramo ( +4), 32 outside the region (+1) and for 2 (-1) provenance checks are underway.

Net of realignments and residence checks, today’s cases refer to the provinces of L’Aquila (3), Chieti (1), Pescara (8), Teramo (5), outside the region (1).
