18 Countries Hit Dumping Tariffs, RI Also Affected

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The United States (US) government under President Donald Trump surprisingly announced the application of anti-dumping tariffs for sheet aluminum products on Friday (9/10). The imposition of this tariff is equivalent to a value of US $ 1.96 billion for 18 countries, unfortunately Indonesia is included in the list.

However, US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said China was not on the list but was considered to have contributed to the flood of sheet aluminum imports which were considered to have flooded the US market and disturbed the aluminum industry in Uncle Sam’s country.
