In the town of Rozenburg in the Rijnmond, a 17-year-old boy died as a result of a stabbing. Many emergency services were on site to provide medical assistance, including a trauma helicopter.
The boy died of his injuries on the spot after unsuccessful attempts by emergency services to resuscitate him. The police incident room initially received a report about a shooting, but it turned out to be a stabbing.
RTV Rijnmond writes that there was a lot of panic among bystanders. The police are looking for the culprit. It is not known what the cause was.
