Bus with passengers caught fire after collision with a car

On the highway, an SUV collided with a bus, killing at least 18 people.

At least 18 people were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and SUV in northern South Africa. This was announced on Wednesday, January 12, the South African radio station SABC with reference to local authorities.

It is noted that the accident occurred on the evening of January 11 on the highway.

“As a result of a head-on collision with an SUV, the bus caught fire, burned 17 passengers who were in its cabin. The driver of the SUV also died,” said Limpopo provincial traffic safety official Mike Maringa.

According to Maring, eight people survived, six of them seriously injured.

Earlier it was reported that on the highway Kiev-Odessa the bus hit the truckthe driver was injured.

Recall that in the Kiev region, collided on the Kyiv-Ovruch highway Dodge Durango and Suzuki Swift cars. As a result, one of the drivers died.
