16,200 people have to leave the country: Why Berlin sends so few

The state of Berlin is currently making little progress in its effort to evict thousands of people from the country. On July 31, a total of 16,209 people registered in Berlin were asked to leave the country, as announced by the Senate’s Interior Administration in response to a Tagesspiegel request.
