The incident happened around 7 p.m. in a house on Sinderenstraat in Amsterdam-Zuidoost.
Trauma helicopter
Police were on the scene after a report of a shooting. An air ambulance, ambulance and fire brigade were also called.
It is still unclear what exactly happened. It is also unknown whether one or more suspects are in the picture. The police are investigating.
According to Het Parool Police arrested two boys about the same age as the victim. They may be friends of his. The newspaper says the shooter fled. A police spokeswoman could not confirm all this and would not say whether any arrests have been made.
