The Münsterland Innovation Award is organized by Münsterland eV and this year’s motto is “Together. Consistent. Act. The Münsterland thinks ahead.”. Klaus Ehling, CEO of Münsterland eV: “The motto takes up an issue that affects all companies. No matter how big or in which industry. We are very pleased that so many companies have applied for the innovation award this year, even though times are not easy right now and many companies have had to reposition themselves. The economic players in the region also live two important core brand values of the Münsterland: energetic and aspiring.” According to Ehling, the business development agencies of the districts and the city of Münster also contributed to the high number of applications.

The Münsterland eV presents the award every two years to creative and innovative developments from the Münsterland. Interested companies had from December 2021 to February 2022 to submit an application. The innovation prize is supported by its sponsors: the savings banks in Münsterland, the provincial insurance AG and the energy service and infrastructure provider Westenergie AG. The winners will be chosen at a ceremony on September 1st in Dülmen in the Coesfeld district and will be rewarded with prize money of 4,000 euros as well as an image or product film produced for their own company.
