The Board of the Latvian Basketball Union has approved the applications of six LBL teams – “VEF Rīga”, BC “Ogre”, BC “Ventspils”, “Valmiera Glass VIA”, “University of Latvia” and BC “Liepāja” – for the Pafbet Latvian-Estonian League Championship.
The management of the Estonian Basketball Federation has approved the participation of seven teams – Tallinn “Kalev / Cramo”, “Avis Utilitas Rapla”, “Parnu Sadam”, “Tartu Ulikool”, “Rakvere Tarvas”, Tallinn “Kalev / TLU” and “TalTech”.
13 teams will play a two-round tournament. Due to the risks of a pandemic, in the first part of the season from the beginning of October to the middle of December, the games will take place only within each country.
