According to the social authority, 126 new corona cases were registered on Sunday. That is 13 cases more than on Sunday a week ago. There was a decrease of 77 cases compared to Saturday.
According to the authorities, a total of 51,791 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the beginning of the pandemic. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 46,800 of these can now be regarded as recovered. The number of cases on Sundays and Mondays is usually lower than on other days of the week. On the one hand, fewer tests are carried out on weekends, and on the other hand, not all data is transmitted by the health authorities.
Incidence value at 78.2
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days is now 78.2. On Sunday a week ago, this value was 69.2. As of Friday, 282 corona patients are being treated in Hamburg’s hospitals. 81 of them are under intensive care.
Seven more dead
According to the RKI, 1,270 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic. That’s seven more than on Friday.
