Health: The number of recoveries from those infected with Coronavirus increased to 97,449 and they were discharged from hospitals
Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 51 recoverers of the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 97,449 cases until today.
A statement by the Ministry stated that 121 new cases that proved positive in laboratory analyzes of the virus were recorded, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and examination procedures that the ministry conducts in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 11 new cases.
The statement said that, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
The statement stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, Tuesday, is 103,902 cases, including 97,449 cases that have been cured, and 6001 deaths.
