A 43-year-old Styrian is said to have instigated the initially unknown 47-year-old mother to perform sexual acts on her minor child.
Karlsruhe, Styria. As reported by German authorities, a 47-year-old German is suspected of having sexually abused her minor daughter (12). Styrian investigators reacted quickly and provided the crucial clue, as the police wrote in a broadcast.
Already on June 8, 2020, investigators from the State Criminal Police Office of Styria (LKA) carried out a house search ordered by the Leoben public prosecutor’s office for a 43-year-old from Upper Styria. The latter is suspected of having owned and passed on child pornography content, some of which he is said to have sent via social media channels. During the search, the officials secured data carriers so that they could be evaluated by an expert.
At the following questioning, the 43-year-old showed himself to be constant and stated that he had sent such content to a “user” on the Internet. However, the man denied interest in child pornography. In the course of the first investigations, however, the suspicion was confirmed that the 43-year-old should have instigated the initially unknown 47-year-old German to perform sexual acts on her minor child. The Styrian is said to have repeatedly received photos and videos of it.
During the interrogation, the 43-year-old received a message with just such a pornographic content, whereupon the Styrian criminalists from the Sexual Offenses investigation area responded immediately and informed the German criminal authorities through the Federal Criminal Police Office (Karlsruhe Police Headquarters). They subsequently carried out a house search at an address determined in the district of Karlsruhe and arrested the 47-year-old (for more information, see press release from the Karlsruhe Public Prosecutor’s Office / Karlsruhe Police Headquarters).
The investigations against the relevant criminal record of 43 years old Styrian and the evaluation of seized data carriers are still ongoing.
Crime prevention: child safety
Violence occurs in all social classes, in all age groups and in all forms. Children in particular are repeatedly warned of the “strange man”, however, sexual abuse of children mainly takes place within the family or in the immediate vicinity. This is so problematic because there is often a dependency relationship and there is a risk that the child will not be believed. The best protection against attacks of any kind is a child who is empowered with confidence, who has learned to pay attention to his feelings and is encouraged to express them.
