113 newly infected with COVID-19, 6 people died



113 are the newly diagnosed persons with coronavirus infection in our country for the last 24 hours – 47 people less than yesterday. This is shown by the National Information System.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 2,840 tests have been performed in Bulgaria, 314 of which are PCR and 2,526 are antigenic.

This means that the new cases are 3.98% of those tested.

16 of them were detected by PCR and 97 by rapid antigen tests. 56.64% of the new cases proven during the past 24 hours are of persons who have not been vaccinated.

Six people died and with them the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic is 37,194.

There are a total of 298 patients with proven COVID-19 placed in hospital care facilities. 27 of them are in intensive care units or clinics. There are 24 new patients in the hospital. 75% of them have not been vaccinated.

4,402,301 doses of vaccines against coronavirus infection have been administered in our country so far. 411 of them have been applied during the past 24 hours.

The confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in our country are currently a total of 1,166,589. The active cases are 69,744. A total of 1,059,651 people have been cured, of which 661 have been registered in the past 24 hours.
