In Leek, catalysts were removed from under two cars on Tuesday to Wednesday night at around 3am, Westerkwartier Police wrote. on Instagram. The cars were parked in the parking lot behind the De Liekeblom aan de Schans shopping centre. A catalytic converter is used to neutralize harmful substances emitted by the engine. The police are looking for witnesses to the theft.
