A police car and a passenger car collided on Monday evening. Both cars were damaged in the accident on the Nieuwe Parklaan in The Hague.

It is unknown if anyone was injured. It is also not clear what caused the accident.

Robbery in Kruidvat Leiden

A robber struck Monday afternoon in the Kruidvat in the Haarlemmerstraat in the center of Leiden. According to police, a man wearing a white plastic mask entered the store. He then ran away through the Vrouwensteeg.

It is not yet known whether the robber stole anything. The area is now being searched for. It concerns a man of about 1.75 meters tall, he was wearing dark clothing and a hood. “Do not approach the man yourself,” the police emphasized.

Man arrested for house robbery Konijnenlaan Wassenaar

A 23-year-old man was arrested in his home on Monday morning because he is suspected of having been involved in a home robbery, the police reported. On October 24, three people raided a house on the Konijnenlaan in Wassenaar. A 72-year-old resident and three house painters were tied up. The suspect has been arrested and the investigation is ongoing.

During the robbery, the painters got a gun in their faces and the resident also became terrified. The robbers took jewelry, among other things. Then they left with the painters’ company bus and later they switched to a bronze-colored Volkswagen Polo. Both cars were later recovered.

Gas leak due to work

The fire brigade was called out on Monday morning for a gas leak in Theresiastraat in The Hague. It is believed that a gas pipe was drilled during work.

A shop and six homes were evacuated as a precaution. The gas company has closed the leak. After inspection by the fire brigade, everyone was allowed to return to their homes or shops.

Drive through twice after collision

This weekend, people drove on in two different places after hitting someone, the police confirm. A 44-year-old man was found on a pedestrian crossing in Voorburg on Saturday evening. Images show a considerable blood stain on the zebra on Parkweg and two bags on the sidewalk. Police are still investigating what exactly happened to the man.

In the night from Saturday to Sunday, a 26-year-old cyclist from Poeldijk was hit on Dijkweg in Naaldwijk. “The motorist drove on,” said a police spokesman. The woman was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

An accident involving seven cars occurred on the A44 from The Hague to Amsterdam on Monday morning. This is reported by the ANWB.

The accident happened between Oegstgeest and Kaag-Dorp. The left lane was temporarily closed.

Driver flees after collision

Two people were injured in a collision on Frans Halsstraat in Lisse on Sunday evening. They were in a car that was hit full by a second car, which immediately took off after the collision.
