11 newborns lost their lives in a fire that broke out in the neonatology department of the Mame Abdou Aziz Sy Dabakh hospital in Tivaouane. The causes of this tragedy are not yet known. Head of State Macky Sall tweeted his pain and dismay to learn of the death of his 11 newborns. He expressed his deep compassion to their mothers and their families.
