1,097 new infections and active cases rise to 11,235

Galicia reaches a new maximum of infections in this wave, exceeding 1,034 the day before yesterday, and positive tests reach their highest percentage of positives in this wave of Covid-19, 13.39%. The situation continues to worsen, but at a slower pace. This week Covid infections have increased by 31.98% compared to the previous week, while last week they had risen by 66.83%. The panorama in Galicia continues to depend on the health area. While in Lugo the cases are already falling compared to days ago and in Ourense the situation seems stabilized -although in very high numbers-, the health area of ​​Pontevedra is the one that is worsening most rapidly at the moment, registering today for the first time more of 200 infections.
