Galicia reaches a new maximum of infections in this sixth wave, with 1,034 new cases, while those infected exceed 10,000 for the first time since August. Today’s data, despite how high they are, represent an increase of 32.6% compared to last Thursday, so the percentage of growth continues to decline and it is expected that -except for the emergence of omicron- in a few days the maximum number of infections of this wave in Galicia will be reached. While the areas of A Coruña, Ferrol, Lugo and Santiago are below 100 infections and among the four add up to 250, the three in the south account for 784 infections, more than triple, highlighting the 396 of Vigo.
