The regional social court in Celle is hearing a special case today. A man has sued the German pension insurance for the payment of his pension. He claims to be 102 years old.
The DRV had previously rejected a corresponding application for the payment of the pension because, according to the data in the insurance account, the man is 48 years old and works full-time as an administrative clerk. According to the DRV data set, he was born in 1973 in Stade. “To further clarify the matter, the court ordered the man to appear in person and invited his employer,” said a court spokesman. In addition, the employer listed in the data is invited as a witness.
Plaintiff submits affidavit
The plaintiff from the Stade district submitted an affidavit and a self-written “birth certificate” to the court. Accordingly, he was born in Hanover in 1919. The plaintiff insisted in the run-up to the hearing that the information from the pension insurance was incorrect. The man had lost an initial trial.
