While Alzheimer’s dementia is a decline in brain function that affects a person’s emotions, memory, and decision making and is commonly called dementia.

People with Alzheimer’s have decreased brain function, including cognitive function which includes memory, language, visuospatial function and decreased executive function. This disease that can cause death can only be slowed down through drugs, but cannot be completely cured.

1. Impaired memory

One of the most prominent symptoms is often forgetting things like things that just happened, where to park, to appointments. In addition, people with dementia also tend to repeat the same stories in a conversation.

2. Difficulty focusing

People with dementia usually show symptoms that it is difficult to focus, including everyday tasks such as cooking. Due to difficulty focusing, people with dementia find it difficult to perform simple calculations and take longer than usual to do a job.

3. Difficulty doing familiar activities

Another symptom that people with dementia exhibit is difficulty planning or completing daily tasks, such as confusion about how to drive or manage finances.
