Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Apple leads the list best selling smartphone globally with the iPhone 13 series in the top three on that list.
Besides Apple, other companies occupying the list are Samsung and Xiaomi. That’s according to Counterpoint Research’s Global Monthly Handset Sales Tracker for April 2022.
Top ten models smartphone the top accounted for 89 percent of total sales for the month. They are as follows:
- Apple iPhone 13 – 5,5%
- Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max – 3,4%
- Apple iPhone 13 Pro – 1,8%
- Apple iPhone 12 – 1,6%
- Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G – 1,5%
- Samsung Galaxy A13 – 1,4%
- Apple iPhone SE 2022 – 1,4%
- Samsung Galaxy A03 Core – 1,4%
- Samsung Galaxy A53 5G – 1,3%
- Redmi Note 11 LTE – 1,3%
Lima smartphone Apple on the list, according to Counterpoint accumulatively accounted for 89% of total sales in April 2022.
Due to its meager product line, Counterpoint thinks Apple always has plenty of models on its list.
On the other hand, with a wider and more diverse product line, the top models Samsung only generates 22% of its total sales.
The best-seller list for the month showed an increase in the number of 5G-enabled smartphones. The 5G smartphones on the list represent a third of the total 5G smartphone sales.
5G capability, according to Counterpointhas become a standard offering on flagships and its presence is increasing in the lower price range as well.
