The Civil Guard has arrested 10 people and investigated five more, within the framework of the Troyina operation, for drug trafficking. Those now detained were moving to the town of La Carolina (Jaén), to later sell narcotic substances in the municipalities of Santa Cruz de Mudela and Torre de Juan Abad.
The investigations began last March, at which time several drug caches were seized, specifically heroin and cocaine, in the two cities of Ciudad Real. The authors skipped the confinement order decreed by the state of alarm to commit this illegal activity.
In the next phase of the operation, the agents located three drug outlets in La Carolina, where a large number of people went daily to acquire this type of substance. After conducting several searches in three homes and one farm, 10 people were arrested, and five are still being investigated.
