TERNEUZEN – Police officers confiscated the driver’s license of a road user who turned out to have been driving under the influence of alcohol on Sunday evening in Terneuzen.
On the street, the officers determined on the basis of a breathalyzer that the person had probably consumed too much alcohol. For this reason, the person was transferred to the police station. A breath analysis was performed here. This showed that the road user had drunk considerably more than permitted.
Where the limit is 220 Ug/l, the road user in question blew a value of 930 Ug/l. “This means four times too much and a collection of the driver’s license,” the police said.
