The Subcommittee on Budgetary Adjustment of the National Assembly’s Special Committee on Budget and Decisions will meet tomorrow at 10:00 to coordinate the government’s budget bill for next year.
The Subcommittee on Fiscal Adjustment performs the coordination role of the budget bill that was raised through the Standing Committee before it is presented to the plenary meeting of the Pre-Committee.
On the 25th, the government and the opposition clashed over the budget bill under the responsibility of the Political Commission and the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Commission, approved by the opposition party alone in the subcommittee for budget adjustment.
In the Political Affairs Committee, the content of the budget reduction promised by Yoon Seok-yeol’s government, such as the budget for the Regulatory Innovation Promotion Team, and the budget increase for public rental housing, called ‘Lee Jae- myeong-pyo budget ‘ in the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Commission, was managed by the opposition party alone.
As a result, there is also the prospect that the budget that was held without agreement in the subcommittee on the budget in the so-called “subcommittee”, an informal consultative body, will inevitably be debated again this year.
