The main fire was caught in 18 hours after a wildfire in Jeongseon, Gangwon-do that occurred in the afternoon of yesterday (20th).
National forests covering the area of 16 soccer fields were burned, but fortunately there was no human injury.

The forest fire in Gujeolli, Jeongseon, Gangwon-do, was caught in 18 hours.

Hundreds of evolutionary crew members pulled hoses up to 800 meters above sea level near the top of the mountain and worked overnight.
