From this weekend, the cultural invitation class will be resumed. These days, when everyone is exhausted from Corona, we prepared it with the hope that it will be a little comfort. The song you are listening to now is Mozart’s song, Allegro in D major, which has been hidden for nearly 250 years. The song that had been asleep for a long time woke up as if Mozart gave us a gift to us tired of coronavirus. On January 27th, Mozart’s 265th birthday, he was the first to play this song in Salzburg, Austria. I will connect pianist Jo Sung-jin through video. You are in Luxembourg right now, and I think many of you will be very happy. Hello.

Yes. It is already the third interview with the newsroom in 18 years following 2016. The first two times I did it with Anchor Son Seok-hee, and this is my first time with me. Thank you so much for taking this time. I know that we are the first to appear on the air after this performance, so I think we should first ask a question that many people are really curious about. How does it feel to be the first in the world to play Mozart’s songs?

What were your thoughts when you were just asked to play for the first time in the world? If you’re like me, is this sheet music really Mozart? You might have been a little suspicious of that.

Why did you have more confidence?

When I played, I saw a smile with the tail of my mouth raised like this, and it looked very enjoyable. I thought it was a very rare scene for Jo Sung-jin to laugh like this during a performance.

Maybe it was because you played it with a joyful heart, and I also accepted this song with a very pleasant feeling. You said you like Mozart because it feels like talking, but did you feel that way for this song?

In particular, since this song was interpreted by Jo Sung-jin for the first time, wouldn’t it have been a bit longer than usual in interpreting the song? I also thought of this, but how was it actually?

In a way, everyone is exhausted in the Corona era, so more than ever, you need the comfort of art, but meeting the audience is not easy. I think Jo Sung-jin is also very disappointed in that part. How are you?

Cho Sung-jin’s performance, sent from Salzburg, seems to have been a beautiful gift for those who are tired of coronavirus. The interview with Jo Sung-jin will end here. Nice to see you today.
