– The domestic new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) situation does not show a sharp spread or a clear decline, and in the case of non-metropolitan areas, the business restrictions will be eased to 10 pm. However, in the case of the metropolitan area, restrictions are maintained until 9 pm.

Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun held a meeting of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters at the Seoul Government Complex on the 6th and said, “After repeated consideration, we will adjust the operating hours of multi-use facilities.” However, he said, “In the metropolitan area, more than 70% of all confirmed cases were concentrated, and the risk of spreading the infection remains, and the current 9pm business limit is maintained.”

In areas other than the metropolitan area, where the situation is improving, the restrictions will be eased to 10 pm, but it has been decided to respect the autonomy of the local government. Prime Minister Chung emphasized, “The government will strictly separate and manage facilities that faithfully observe the quarantine regulations and places that do not through the’One Strike Out System’.”

Prime Minister Chung explained the reasons for the mitigation measures, citing the pain of small business owners and self-employed people caused by prolonged social distancing. He said, “The pain of small business owners and self-employed people who have been unable to do business for a long period of time is at a level that is hard to bear anymore.” “The feeling is going down”. He added, “We know that this time mitigation measure is not enough to heal the wounds of self-employed people who have been deeply fanned. .
