21 people directly guilty of the collapse or involved in illegal subcontracting are on trial.
Among them, three Hyundai Development Company, including the site manager, two subcontractors and a site supervisor were arrested.

The point at which the new apartment collapsed was just 15 days before the Severe Disaster Punishment Act was implemented.

Best of all, prospective tenants who have been waiting for the day to move into a new apartment aren’t the only ones feeling uncomfortable.
It seems that these pains will continue for up to 5 years after the demolition and reconstruction of the apartment is finished.

Of the 87 shopping centers that suffered damage as a result of the collapse, more than 30 shops, including stationers and florists, have not received compensation for damages.
