Yes, the accident occurred at the LG Display factory in Paju, Gyeonggi-do.
It was around 2 pm that the report of a chemical spill accident was received here.
The point of the accident is north of Area P8 inside the factory.
It was found that a substance called tetramethylammonium hydroxide was leaked from here.
It is a colorless liquid with an ammonia odor, which is corrosive and flammable, but is also known to be fatal.
The accident resulted in serious respiratory injury to three employees on site.
Two of them fell into a state of cardiac arrest, and fortunately, it was found that their breathing had returned.
In addition, when an accident occurred, three in-house emergency medical personnel were injured, including respiratory burns while rescued employees.
Upon receiving the report, the fire department mobilized 12 vehicles and 38 firefighters to respond.
