The number of new Corona 19 patients reached 74,000, the highest in three months as of Wednesday.
The government plans to start related discussions the day after tomorrow (9) with the lifting of the mask indoors at the end of January in mind.

Let’s start with the state of the COVID-19 outbreak.

At 0 o’clock today, the number of new corona patients19 was counted at 74,714.
That’s a drop of 2,800 from yesterday, but an increase of 7,200 from a week ago.
As of Wednesday, it is the highest in 12 weeks.
After yesterday’s record of the most confirmed cases in 83 days, a recovery in winter is showing an uptick.
There are 441 critically ill patients receiving hospitalization and on the 19th day the number is kept at a high 400.
The death toll was counted at 54, bringing the cumulative death toll to 30,847 so far.
Quarantine authorities have determined that the current winter outbreak may be in the middle of the winter season, saying the death rate appears to be rising due to the trend to test fewer people.
Public Administration and Security Minister Lee Sang-min also assessed that this should be the last hurdle of the winter revival.

Yes, Minister of Public Administration and Security Lee Sang-min announced a little while ago at the Corona 19 critical meeting that he would start discussing the direction of adjustment for mask requirement the day after tomorrow (9).
He also said he would prepare a final draft by the end of this month, following a public debate and expert advisory meeting on the 15th.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Han Deok-soo said, “Experts predict that the requirements for removing masks indoors could be met by the end of next month.”
At the end of January, the possibility of lifting the obligation to wear masks indoors was mentioned.
Meanwhile, the quarantine authorities have said that the indoor mask requirement can be lifted around March next year, but if it is lifted at the end of January, the lifting point will be brought forward by more than a month.
Prime Minister Han also expressed an expert opinion that since Corona 19 is prevalent in winter, at least the position is to take it off after the winter epidemic has passed.
Earlier, some local governments, including Daejeon City and Chungcheongnam-do, announced that they would voluntarily lift the requirement to wear masks indoors from January 1 next year.
