Starting tomorrow (15th), the social distancing stage will be lowered by one step for the metropolitan area and 1.5 for the non-metropolitan area.
Accordingly, the restrictions on business of multi-use facilities such as restaurants and gyms in the metropolitan area will be extended to 10 p.m., and the ban on private gatherings with more than 5 people, which was considered effective in preventing infection, was decided to remain.

The government has decided to step down the social distancing step it has maintained for over two months.

Accordingly, the business hours of multi-use facilities such as restaurants, cafes, and indoor sports facilities in the metropolitan area are extended by one hour to 10 pm.
Entertainment facilities such as clubs across the country are also allowed to operate until 10:00 pm under the condition of observing the quarantine rules.
Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun said that he made this decision in consideration of national fatigue while being faithful to the principles.

The government has stressed that it will immediately impose a collective ban on businesses that violate quarantine regulations.
