This morning, a fire, believed to be a gas explosion, broke out in an apartment in Jeongneung-dong, Seoul.
Two apartment residents were seriously injured, and nine were injured, and about 40 were unable to stay at home for the time being due to the aftermath of the fire.

Flames and black smoke rise constantly from the apartment.
The windows and railings were completely destroyed, even to the next door of the generation of soaring flames.
A fire broke out on the 6th floor of an apartment in Jeongneung-dong, Seoul, around 7:40 am.
Residents say the building shook with a’pop’ sound.
[송진영 / 아파트 주민 : 그때 갑자기 폭탄 터지는 거 같은 소리가 나면서 건물이 흔들려서 깜짝 놀라서 내려가 보니까 거기 6층에서 터져서 난리가 났더라고요.]
Manpower and equipment from nearby fire departments were mobilized to catch a big flame in about 10 minutes, but there was no small amount of damage to people.
Two people, including a male in their 70s, a resident on the 6th floor, were seriously injured, and seven were taken to the hospital for injuries to their heads or drinking smoke.
The fire was completely extinguished in two hours, and an estimated 120 million won in property damage was incurred by the fire department.
Police and fire departments assumed a gas explosion started the fire, and decided to conduct a joint inspection on Monday.
It is known that many people in need, such as recipients of basic living, live in apartments with fires.
The district office said it has provided temporary shelter to more than 40 residents who lost their place due to the fire.
