During the weekend, group infections continued in various places in the metropolitan area such as workplaces and nurseries.

The number of confirmed cases related to detention centers increased?

Yes, as one detainee here was confirmed yesterday, there were 216 cumulative confirmed cases related to the Eastern Detention Center here.
It included 186 prisoners, 16 employees, and 14 family members and acquaintances.
The confirmed prisoners and those in close contact were separated into three prison camps inside the detention center and quarantined.
We are continuing to check the condition by receiving medical personnel support from the quarantine authorities along with more than 20 medical staff inside the detention center.
The court also caught an emergency.
This is because more than 40 confirmed detainees entered various courts across the country to attend the trial before quarantine.
In this regard, the entire building was disinfected at the Seoul Eastern District Law and the Seoul Northern District Law, the Suwon District Law Seongnam Branch and the Daejeon District Law Seosan Branch.
Judges, staff, and prosecutors who attended the trial are being tested for COVID-19.
The trial schedule has also been disrupted, as many trials that will be held in courts where the confirmed person has entered have been postponed.

New cases of group infection continue to appear everywhere in the metropolitan area?

Yes, yesterday alone, at least six cases in Gyeonggi and Incheon were classified as new cases of group infection.
Rectal-related infections were dominated.
At a real estate developer in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, 14 people were confirmed, including the first confirmed on the 16th, all of which were investigated as employees.
At the golf course in Pocheon, since one employee was first confirmed on the 18th, 11 employees and three additional employees’ family members were diagnosed with infection.
In the insurance company in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, 4 employees, including the first confirmed employee on the 17th, and 11 people, including family and acquaintances, were confirmed.
At a nursery school in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province, since one employee was confirmed on the 16th, 12 people, including children,
At the accommodation facility for the disabled in Paju, after one employee was confirmed for the first time on the 18th, 14 people, including those in the facility, were each confirmed.
In one academy in Uijeongbu, 15 people, including students, were confirmed one after another after the first confirmed cases on the 12th, and were classified as new cases of group infection.
In the previous case, 11 additional contacts were confirmed at the Gangseo-gu church in Seoul, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases totaled 203.
Until yesterday, despite the weekend, the number of confirmed cases in the range of 1,000 was shown.
The quarantine authorities again urged them to pay special attention to compliance with the rules so that the outbreak of infection could be prevented without raising the distance to three levels.
