The owner of the gold and silver room received a report that he had been scammed after giving him 300 million won worth of gold, believing he was the manager of a construction company.
I received a deposit text from the bank and handed me a gold bar, but it turned out to be a bankruptcy check.
The police have been looking for the culprit for the second month, and reporter Da-yeon Kim reports what loophole it was aiming for.

When they say they’ve come to pick up the item for you, the employee makes several phone calls, checks their ID, and hands over the gold they had prepared.
It is 5 1kg gold bars, which is worth 380 million won.

Before handing over, the employee checked a text message stating that the deposit was complete.
But it was a scam.
A check, that was already a’bad check’ that wasn’t available for years.
Employees who saw the deposit notice text and thought that the cash would have come in, say they only want to turn their time.

Looking back, there weren’t one or two that were questionable.
The killer never showed up.
I continued to consult with the purchase over the phone, and when I was suspicious, I took a business card and sent it.
On the day I decided to meet, I was tested for Corona 19 and said it was difficult to visit, and did not show my face until the end.

It is known that the Colevan driver, who caught a taxi in front of the store, met a delivery driver at the place the suspect said and delivered the gold bars.
The investigation has been on hold for the second month.
The police explained that CCTV tracking is no longer difficult as the suspect disappeared last in the hillside in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do.
The police are narrowing down the network by tracking the call list.
