It is expected that snow will fall and accumulate in various places in the Midwest, including Seoul at night.
As the temperature is below freezing this morning, roads on the way to work are expected to form ice, so traffic disruption is a concern.

In the cold wave that lasted for four days, heavy snowfall of more than 1m accumulated in the mountains of Jeju.
This is because of the snow clouds created by the cold air and the relatively warm sea.
This snow cloud will flow inland overnight.
Snow starts in northern Gyeonggi and northern Yeongseo, and we will expand it to the Midwest region including Seoul.
In southern Gyeonggi, northern Chungbuk, and southern Yeongseo, snowfall of up to 5cm is likely to be issued and heavy snow warnings may be issued.
A lot of snow will accumulate 1 to 3 cm in Seoul.

As snow clouds cover the sky, the cold wave will slow down, but the sub-zero cold will continue.
Therefore, it is highly likely that the snow will still freeze and the road will turn into an icy road this morning.
The Meteorological Administration urged them to use public transportation and beware of falls on slippery roads as they are concerned about a traffic disruption on their way to work.
