US President Donald Trump says he doesn’t want violence, even though Congress’s impeachment push is causing “great anger.”
President Trump made this statement by meeting with reporters before leaving the White House to visit the Mexican border barrier in Texas on the 12th local time.
President Trump criticized the impeachment campaign as “really absurd,” and as “the biggest continuation of witch hunts in political history.”
However, it did not answer the question of whether to resign.
When asked if he was responsible for the supporters’ intrusion into Congress, he stressed that his remarks were “completely appropriate.”
