The head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) warned of a slowdown in the world economy and lowered the growth forecast for next year, lowered to 2.9%.
The economic slowdown in large countries like the United States and China has already begun and a series of blows to emerging and developing countries are inevitable.

In a speech at George Washington University, IMF CEO Kristalina Georgieva diagnosed that the global economy is undergoing a fundamental change.
The world is experiencing high inflation due to successive crises such as Corona 19, the Russian invasion of Ukraine and climate change, but solving the problem has become more difficult due to the division of the international community.

He also said he will lower global economic growth forecasts for next year.
This means that the growth rate for next year, which had been lowered once from 3.6% to 2.9%, will again be revised downwards.
Specific data will be announced next week.
However, this year’s growth rate will remain unchanged at 3.2%.
Lowering the forecast for next year means increasing the odds of a global recession.

The IMF chief predicted that export demand from emerging and developing countries will also contract as the world’s largest economies, such as the United States, Europe and China, have already slowed.
