There are many places that conduct video conferences as non-face-to-face work has increased since Corona 19.
This has also happened in American courts.
This is the story of a lawyer who turned into a cat during a burn hearing because of the filter that was turned on without his knowledge.
Reporter Yeojin Lee introduces.

Attorneys appear in video hearings in Texas courts.
In a situation dealing with a civil confiscation case, a baby cat appears out of nowhere on the screen.
Attorney Rod Fonton didn’t know if his secretary’s computer had a filter that looked like a cat turned on.
As the judge calmly points out, the cat, as if panicked, rolls around his large eyes and stutters.
[로이 퍼거슨 / 판사 : 폰튼 변호사, 비디오 설정에 필터를 켜놓으신 것 같아요. 아무래도 꺼야 할 것 같은데….]
[로드 폰튼 / 변호사 : 아…. 그러려고 하는데…. 판사님, 제 얘기가 들리십니까?]
[로이 퍼거슨 / 판사 : 네, 들립니다. 필터 문제인 것 같아요.]
[로드 폰튼 / 변호사 : 필터를 어떻게 없애는지 모르겠어요. 제 비서가 지금 없애려고 노력 중인데요.]
A fellow attorney who appears next to the judge’s voice pointing out the filter, puts on his glasses and looks at the baby cat with an absurd expression.
The other attorney above is struggling to avoid his gaze and laughs as if he couldn’t help it at the end.
[로드 폰튼 / 변호사 : 아아…. 저는 심리에 참여할 준비가 돼 있습니다. 저는 지금 여기에 있습니다. 저는 고양이가 아니에요.]
[로이 퍼거슨 / 판사 : 네. 그건 알겠어요.]
Attorney Fonton, who was sweaty, returned to work in a minute, but became a celebrity with this video posted by the judge.
Attorney Fonton, who has been inundated with interview requests from all over the world, said he always wanted to be famous as a good lawyer, and he hoped that the video would make people laugh.
[로드 폰튼 / 변호사 : 모든 사람의 얼굴이 등장했죠. 저만 빼고요. 저는 고양이였어요. 그때 들었던 생각은 ‘이런 젠장, 이게 뭐야?’ 저한테 일어난 일이고 부정할 수 없네요. 저 때문에 오늘 밤 모두가 웃었으면 좋겠어요.]
Judge Ferguson said that these fun moments were born as legal professionals were trying to keep the judicial system sustainable, and that everyone involved showed a professional consciousness by dealing with dignity.
He also advised that if your child used a computer, you must turn off the filter function before attending a video conference.
