The French Academy of Arts said that world-renowned fashion designer Pierre Cardin died in a hospital outside Paris on the 29th local time.
It is 98 years old, and the specific cause of death is unknown.
Pierre Cardin was born in 1922, the son of a wine prize in Venice, Italy, and moved to France with his family at the age of two.
After entering the fashion world as an apprentice at the age of 14, in her early twenties, she worked as a pattern company in Christian Dior, the two major mountains of French fashion.

It was also recorded as the first Western designer to show a fashion show at the Forbidden City in Beijing, China, and Red Square in Moscow, Russia during the Cold War.
