“The UK suffers more than the EU… ‘Brexit’ is the beginning”
Difficulty in influx of overseas labor force, resulting in labor shortages everywhere

It’s been three years since Brexit, when the UK left the European Union, and the situation in the UK is much more difficult than in the EU.

The UK economy is projected to fall into the most severe recession of any major developed country this year.

It’s been three years since Brexit broke up with the European Union (EU), but the UK has spent it quietly without any special ceremony.

This is because the economic outlook is bleak and social problems are piled up in layers, so it is not a situation to celebrate loudly.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicted that the UK economy would contract negatively by 0.6% this year, the only major country to do so.

It is expected to be lower than Russia (which is expected to grow 0.3% this year), which is under economic sanctions for invading Ukraine.

It is an analysis that Brexit was the beginning of the UK suffering more from the economic crisis than the European Union.

After leaving the EU, the influx of overseas labor has become more difficult, resulting in a shortage of workers in restaurants and rural areas.

As prices rose by more than 10% and life became difficult, large-scale strikes such as teachers and railroad workers followed.

The national health service, the public health care system that the UK was proud of, also fell into the biggest crisis.

Because of this, public opinion has also changed to regret Brexit.

In the 2016 poll, 51.9% were in favor of Brexit, but in a survey last November, 56% said Brexit was a ‘mistake’.

Public opinion was extremely divided during the referendum on whether to vote for or against Lexit, and political turmoil, such as changing the prime minister five times in six years, is making it difficult to resolve national issues such as overcoming the economic crisis.
