Fireworks set on fire

The resident of an apartment building in Keplerstrasse presumably burned off a firework in the stairwell at around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and triggered a fire alarm. The other residents were evacuated and, after no fire was found and the building was ventilated, were able to return to their homes. The Friedrichshafen fire brigade was deployed with five vehicles and 24 emergency services. The Friedrichhafen police station has started the investigation.

Drug ride

During a traffic check on Friedrichstrasse on Sunday evening, the police officers determined that a 22-year-old car driver was presumably under the influence of narcotics. A drug test responded positively to marijuana, which is why a blood sample was taken in a clinic. The young man was prohibited from continuing his vehicle. In addition, a small amount of marijuana was found during the search of the 22-year-old, which is why he has to answer for a violation of the Narcotics Act and driving under the influence of drugs.

From Wednesday evening to Saturday morning, an unknown road user damaged an Opel Insignia in the rear left fender in the parking lot in Grafenholzweg when parking or leaving. Property damage of 10,000 euros was caused on Sunday morning in a traffic accident on the B 31 between Meersburg and Überlingen.
