They try to get access to their PC under the pretext of alleged error messages. Now two other cases became known to the police, in which the victims received several calls from an unknown person who spoke in broken English. In both cases it is unclear exactly what the caller asked for. He only indicated that the PC was defective. A 76-year-old Edenkobener was already informed about this trick, which is why he immediately ended the conversation. The police are again warning of incorrect Microsoft support. Microsoft does not make unsolicited phone calls to repair damaged devices. If you are called by an alleged Microsoft employee, end the call immediately. If you have already spoken to one of these, disconnect your PC from the network and change your passwords.
