(aa) Car breakers were out and about in the night of Thursday in Bürgel: between 7 p.m. and 6.30 a.m., the thieves broke a window on two vehicles parked in Brandenburger Strasse. They stole a cable drum and tools from a white Ford Transit. Nothing is missing from the other vehicle. Also in the street “Am Maingarten” the perpetrators smashed the triangular window of a white Ford Transit parked there. Apparently nothing was stolen from this. 1. Cyclist stole fishing equipment – Langenselbold

(aa) An angler got “Am Kinzigsee” some of his equipment stolen early Thursday morning. Between 5 a.m. and 6.30 a.m., the 60-year-old had put down his green bag with several fishing rods, six reels and two captains on the green area between Kinzigsee and Ruhlsee and wanted to get the rest out of his parked car. From a distance he saw a cyclist coming, who took away the bag and equipment and cycled away. The thief, who was dressed in dark clothes and had a light cap, made prey worth about 300 euros as he drove past. The police are asking for more information on 06181 9010-0.

The 24-year-old driver of the ambulance apparently ran over a red traffic light at the intersection between the state roads using special rights and rights of way. This led to a collision with the Peugeot. The ambulance driver and the Peugeot driver were slightly injured. There was property damage of around 28,000 euros. Witnesses to the accident should report to the police station in Maintal on 06181 4302-0.
