Police did not register any major incidents on Monday evening

(jm) Also on Monday evening there were events in several cities and communities in the Offenbach district and in the Main-Kinzig district, which, according to the police, were called for in the social networks. According to a preliminary assessment, numerous people followed the calls; From the point of view of the law enforcement officers, the events mostly ran smoothly and without any special incidents. Numerous events were not registered. Meetings in Neu-Isenburg, Egelsbach, Seligenstadt and Gelnhausen, on the other hand, were registered. Areas of the city and district of Offenbach: Around 100 people gathered in Offenbach. The police determined the personal details of two people because of alleged violations. An event took place in Seligenstadt with a preliminary number of 250 people. The police made several loudspeaker announcements with the request to comply with the Corona requirements. A registered counter-event with around 200 participants also took place in Seligenstadt. According to a preliminary estimate, 115 people took part in a registered event in Neu-Isenburg. The police carried out identity checks on three people, including a folder, because of suspected violations. Furthermore, a young person is said to have thrown an egg at the participants of the event. His personal details were also identified. Around eight people met at an unregistered event in Egelsbach. At a registered counter-event, around 50 participants were counted who carried grave lights with them. About 350 people met unannounced in Jügesheim. According to current knowledge, the other protest events in Langen, Obertshausen, Dietzenbach and Mühlheim, like those in Egelsbach and Jügesheim, took place without any particular incidents and for the time being there were between 20 and 100 people.

City of Hanau:

At an unregistered event in Hanau, more than 50 people were present at the top. According to current knowledge, a personal identification was carried out.

Main-Kinzig-Kreis area:

According to preliminary estimates, 200 people gathered in Gelnhausen. At a registered counter-event, 10 people were provisionally identified. According to a preliminary estimate, between 25 and 290 people were present at the other unregistered events in Maintal, Nidderau-Winecken, Bruchköbel, Hammersbach, Langenselbold, Freigericht, Steinau an der Straße and Schluechtern (Langenselbold around 200 and in Schluechtern around 290 people). From the police point of view, according to the first findings, this event took place without any special incidents.

The police were on site at the events with support forces from the Hessian riot police. The aim was to ensure that the respective events ran smoothly. In addition, the focus of the police measures was on compliance with the applicable Corona regulations.
