(tl) After a traffic accident escape yesterday morning, the police in Seligenstadt turned to the population with a description of the driver and a reference to the license plate number and asked for evidence. At around 11.40 a.m., the person who caused the accident drove north on Kapellenstrasse and apparently wanted to turn right into Jahnstrasse. He collided with his car on the right-turn lane with the red Hyundai of a 52-year-old from Seligenstadt, who was already on it. The Hyundai suffered property damage of around 1,000 euros. After both of them initially turned into Jahnstrasse and there was a brief conversation with the woman, the perpetrator fled via Kolpingstrasse and disappeared. It is said to have been a dark small car with an OF license plate with the letter combination “AI” or “HI” in the middle block. The driver is described as a young man, around mid-20s, normal stature, around 1.80 m tall, brown hair and a full beard. He was dressed in a black jacket and black pants. 3. Stolen cigarette stock – Neu-Isenburg

Around 2 o’clock the strangers were there, beat and pushed against the two main entrance doors until they opened and then went into the sales room. After they had attacked the cigarettes, they fled with their prey via the previously used access route. According to initial findings, all wore gloves, dark outerwear and were all slim. 1. Woman seriously injured in a solo accident under the influence of alcohol – Schöneck

(tl) A 52-year-old woman was seriously injured in a solo accident on Thursday evening on Landesstraße 3008 near Oberdorfelden. At around 5:20 p.m. she drove the state road from Bad Vilbel towards Kilianstädten. Shortly before the exit in the direction of Kilianstädten, she turned right off the road, collided with the post of a traffic sign and rolled over several times. After about 100 meters, her Toyota came to rest on the roof. She had to be rescued from the vehicle wreck by the fire brigade and was eventually taken to a clinic. To make matters worse, the Nidderauerin also smelled alcohol in the breath, which was reflected in a breath alcohol test with a value of 2.5 per mille and resulted in the delivery of a blood sample. She now has to answer for suspected road traffic hazard. The officers also immediately withheld their driver’s license. The route was completely closed until 8 p.m. to clean the lane and secure the traffic sign.
