A 55-year-old on the A 81 in the direction of Würzburg probably got a shock on Thursday afternoon. Between 5:00 p.m. and between the Boxberg and Ahorn junctions, the driver of an Opel suddenly noticed smoke from the engine compartment of his vehicle. The 55-year-old was able to stop and get out on the hard shoulder in time. A short time later, the Opel was on fire. The vehicle was extinguished by the alarmed fire department. A technical defect can be considered as the cause of the fire. The roadway had to be partially blocked for fire fighting. The property damage to the burned-out car is around 5,000 euros.
Grünsfeld: On the way to vacation
The driver of a Skoda was checked at around 12.30 p.m. on the parking lot of the Ob der Tauber rest area. The 34-year-old was on his way to vacation on his own account. The owner of a BMW had to find damage to his car in Tauberbischofsheim on Wednesday afternoon. The man had parked his vehicle at 3 p.m. in Schillerstrasse on the right side of the road. When he got to his BMW at around 6 p.m., he noticed damage to the front number plate and bumper. The parked car was probably damaged by a parking vehicle with a towbar. Creglingen: senseless destruction

A fire was lit in the upper school courtyard of the Werkrealschule and boards from the school’s own construction site were burned. Removed washbasins were also smashed in the school yard. The total damage is over 10,000 euros. At night, between two and three o’clock, a group of eight to ten young people was seen in the Realschule area, who are said to have stayed there for a long time.
