On Friday afternoon there was a traffic accident between a motorcyclist and a car on county road 4902, at the junction of a forest path.
The 55-year-old motorcyclist drove the K4902 coming from Friedenweiler in the direction of Schwärzenbach. The 34-year-old car driver, coming out of the forest path, wanted to turn left onto the K4902. The right of way was taken from the motorcyclist, so that the two vehicles then collided.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured in the accident and taken to a nearby hospital by a rescue helicopter.
There were a total of three people in the car, none of whom were injured.
A total property damage of approx. 17,000.00 EUR was incurred on both vehicles.
